There are 19.1 million two-wheelers in the Netherlands (and 16.4 million people). This includes 634,000 motorcycles and about 500,000 mopeds and scooters, thus about 18,000,000 bicycles. Of course you could pretty much guess this just by looking at the bicycle covered streets of each town. Its obvious there are about as many bikes as people, and they’re mostly city/utility bikes that live outdoors.

Hot, hot, hot!
It's about 37 celcius here .... no wind. Fantastic. The ferry crossing was brilliant - the sea was almost still. Everything fantastic. John came to the Hoek to pick us up and now we are having fabulous time. Had to go shopping for food (boring as I always do it on-line at home) and food here is about 40% more expensive than the UK. Petrol at the moment is One pound 30 pence a litre - so stop moaning in England!

Cameras, Cups of Tea
TaTa's not very good at setting the camera on self-timer.
Dad, KeKe and Treacle in the garden getting some rays and Vitamin D. Always a cup of tea around.
Dad singing!
Forget the self-timer just do it in the mirror!
Horsham Park Bandstand - the quintessential English scene - I could smell the polyester!

Bloody M25, baked potatoes and Boris
Hmmmm....methinks I want a sausage roll. Horsham Park - something of which the people of Horsham should be proud. Fabulous indoor/outdoor pool, eateries, beautiful landscaped park, huge duckpond, cycle paths, a maze, a bandstand - absolutely gorgeous. It is an oasis in an expanding town and the council deserve a pat on the back for spending Council Tax and Regeneration money to benefit residents and visitors unlike other councils and regeneration groups who just do it for their own personal kudos.
Dad enjoying the largest baked potato with cheese ever - we think he put on two kilos over the weekend!
Whilst Treacle enjoys the breeze on the M25, KeKe is not so enthralled. Bloody toll thingy should be closed - they have said they have enough money but just keeping it open for a laugh. Took six hours to get down south and four hours to get back. Horrendous accidents and maniac drivers. Can't wait until 2012 when we host the Olympics - the UK is going to grind to a halt. Poor old Boris Johnson.

Random images for a random time
A wonderful time was had by all in Sussex.Dad was very sad to see us go and said 'this is the saddest day of my life'.
KeKe is being his usual silly self - he told me had been to the dentist and then turned round with this in his mouth!
Last photo is my bro' Courtney and his son William Laurent. Rock on C!
