Happy birthday Ta-Ta!
It's Ta-Ta's birthday today! So am busy making cakes. Photos later as I am sooooo busy!
This is Ta-Ta with Mila. Mila is a Sparrowhawk and is 4 months old. She flew into a conservatory window and bent her wing and is staying with Ta-Ta until she is better. The things around her feet are called jesses.
These are some of Ta-Ta's friends who came: Ruud, Peter, Mike, Dick, Suzi, Margo, Roy, Wendy and Pauline. It was very nice time and they liked my cakes.

In loving memory of Foggy
At approximately 0710 BST on 1 August 2008, this beautiful Bedlington terrier, Foggy, aged just 7, was shot in the owners front garden - sending tremors throughout the peaceful rural community. The Bedlington Terrier is a distinctive breed known for its gentle and loving nature. He leaves behind Kookie, another Bedlington (aged an impressive 15), his two owners Sue and Simon, and their two sons, Andrew and Paul. As everyone will attest, he was an extremely affectionate and playful character who brought immense joy to those around him. We were so lucky to have him in our lives. We know that he was shot with a precision air rifle. The sharpened pellet punctured his heart. He died within 20 minutes on the way to the local veterinary surgery. Worst of all, he suffered greatly and died in Sue’s arms. A police and RSPCA investigation is underway.
SUPPORT THE CAMPAIGN: His owners have created an online petition to express the strength of public feeling about Foggy’s death not only in the immediate region but also across the UK and indeed abroad. It will be submitted to the police and/or the respective Magistrates in due course. If you wish to sign the petition please go to www.rememberfoggy.com/Welcome.html
Tizit will not post further blogs for at least a week.

Grumpy Douis
Douis you are in such a bad mood I wish you would disappear. Oh no .... Douis come back I didn't mean it.
One hour later...Douis has returned and it's party time...come on Twizzle...join the party. Twizzle takes about half-an-hour to reach the plate because she is a geriatricat. I know...let's take the plate to her. Yum....bangers and gravy. Yes I am trying not to think what is in the bangers - I watched that programme too.

Early one morning
ZZZZZzzzzzz........what, huh, yawn, who, who me sleeping? I'm not sleeping and it's almost breakfast time. Get up immediately otherwise I will tip this glass of water over your head just like Mikey on Big Brother.
I don't like Rex because he thought it was funny that Heaven the Fish died and his hair is totally weird - looks like he has a lump on his head and it's ginger - yeech. I like Darnell the best at the moment but that may change.

Where's dinner?
Hello, Ta-Ta is walking over to the dinner cupboard. Oh she just got out a cleaning cloth. We want dinner.
Open your mouth Douis - I am so hungry I want to see if you have any bits between your teeth.
Well it is now 19:16 and we had to wait a full 60 seconds. Service around here is just not good enough. I shall complain to the King of Siam.

Suzie
This is Suzie. We had a poetry reading from her the other evening and she is very clever. Ta-Ta, Co-Co, Suzie and Treacle the dog went to the beach and it was raining, hailing, thundering, lightning and rainbowing and they had to wait with the lifeboatmen and sing songs of the sea and then drink hot chocolate with Ian at his cafe. Then they came home and were all very wet and sandy and here I am licking salt from Suzie's arm. She goes on holiday a lot to Siapruss and Lanzagrotty. She works at a college for humans who are learning to read and write. She is much older than Ta-Ta by a full six days.
