Castro Urdiales, Cantabria, Spain

Washday
Looks run down but doing a lot of restoration work in the town
Anti-facism graffiti
Municipal house
Some pretty cool architecture ... a strange mixture of French Gothic, medieval. Not many new builds. A real old fishing town full of character.

I sat at the Tapas bar
And watched old men talking
Waving their bark-skinned hands
Talking of women, football and the sea
I wish a could watch a film of their lives
To see each moment of their existence
Now they sit under the gnarled olive tree
Dappled by the sunshine
Their youth inside them
Laughs and dances and loves
