Johan Frans Junior

First about me. Here I am finishing off some lovely Dutch cream thing that Ta-Ta brought back from Dutchland. She says they have the best dairy products in the whole wide universe. All you have to say to her is 'hopjes vla, griesmelpap, vanilla vla, karnemelk, volle melk, bitterkoekpudding' and she goes into a trance.
Also I have some special news that my sister Poppy won FIRST PRIZE in a Siamese Cat Competition in Devon.
Now to Johan Frans Junior (John). In the first photo John is wearing dark glasses so you cannot recognise him. Now I think it is easy to find John because he has very special fur. He is known in Dutchland as a 'krullebol' which means curly head. Ta-Ta says his hair needs a little cut and you can see his curls properly. Also in the photo you see his sister Margo, his other sister Adrianna and his brother-in-heart Mohammed. I told you this family is complicated to follow. They are on a boat which is going down the Rijn River as John lives nearby. John used to be a psychologist but then changed his career to work in film and theatre and to become an astronaut .... moment Ta-Ta is calling something .... not astronaut - astronomist ... what ... astroturf ... okay ... astrologist. It is like a psychologist except he works with stars.
As you can see the sun always shines in Dutchland. Most humans think it rains all the time but it doesn't. So you can sit outside in cafes and have a cofee and cake and this is what John is doing here (is the woman next to John his girlfriend - he seems to like the look of her).
Also the Dutchland people talk all the time - they never stop - and they talk to themselves as well - Rude-Boy does that a lot.
In the last photo John has taken off his dark glasses because he is afraid the parakeet may steal them.

Rude-Boy and Margo

There have been some meows about me not being on every blog ... so this is to let you know there will be at least one photo of me on every blog whilst I explain about the Dutchland family. So for all those who missed me last time here I am! As you can see I am changing colours again - just like the leaves on the trees.

The second photo is of Rudolfus Abrahamus Alexander (brother-in-heart of Ta-Ta and Ke-Ke), Ta-Ta and Margo (sister of Ke-Ke). This is in their garden which is near the palace of the Dutch Queen - the Dutch Queen doesn't have great big houses like the English Queen and also she likes to ride a bicycle instead of riding around in a gold carriage or a big car. Ta-Ta has met the Dutch Queen and says she is
very nice and you don't have to wear a hat or curtsey or bow. Anyway Rude-Boy (as Ta-Ta calls him) is 60 and is always doing something social, technical, funny or climbing something - very difficult in Dutchland as their highest hill is 2 metres and they are below sea level so that really makes it minus 2 metres. Margo is Rude-Boy's wife and she works as a teacher's assistant - she used to be a radiologist so remember this every time you listen to the radio. Margo is very patient with Rude-Boy who is always wandering about on long walks, climbing glaciers and being silly in public places.
The next photo is Rude-Boy again with Margo and Ke-Ke. Ta-Ta and Ke-Ke arrived at 11.30pm and Rude-Boy was blowing a trumpet out of the
window. This is the day after and it was very hot in the garden. Rude-Boy got out a hammock and made burned bacon for breakfast. They also had muisjes (little mice) on their bread in the morning so I am beginning to like these humans more and more.

Then we have Rude-Boy in the cafe in Kijkduin. Ta-Ta said she would pay only if Rude-Boy would walk to the cash desk with her purse - so of course he did.

And the last photo I like very much because it reminds me of a famous statue called The Kiss by Rodent. This is Rude-Boy and Margo in the garden of Gert. Just in the corner you can see their daughter Ellen. Rude-Boy and
Margo have three daughters - Ellen, Sandra and Marije and a grandson called Finn.

The family of Adrianna (Ke-Ke sister) and Mohammed

Remember: if you want to make the photos really big you left click on them - if you want to copy them you right click on them. Now this is a complicated one for me to explain - so pay attention.
The first photo is in a cafe in Kijkduin - they are eating Tiramisu with cream and chocolate pie. The human man standing is Rudolphus Abrahamus Alexander. He is a social worker and he also climbs glaciers. He cannot sit still for more than five minutes and tells Ta-Ta lots of rude words in Dutch. The human woman with the white-blond hair is Margo, the wife of Ruud. Margo is the sister of Ke-Ke who is mydad. The woman with the brown headscarf is Adrianna Janna who is the sister of Ke-Ke. They had a lot of fun and Adrianna ate a whole portion of huge chocolate pie herself - so I like her a lot! The second photo is of Ta-Ta, Adrianna and Margo on the promenade in
Scheveningen. It was very windy that day and Margo got sand behind her contact lenses and had to wear some sunglasses. Adrianna looks very pretty and is the only one without her hair blowing about. Adrianna is 56 in human years and has an illness called Alzheimer's and sometimes she forgets things and cannot do the things she did before like cooking. Have a look at the Alzheimer's site and you can even buy a gift or give money to help this charity. Adrianna is a very special human and she loves to laugh and dance. Sometimes she becomes very sad but she has many humans to love her and I love her too because Ta-Ta says she is beautiful.
Now is this photo we have on the left Nedra who is the daughter of Mohammed and Adrianna.
Then we have Mohammed who is a fantastic cook so I like him. He made rice with lamb one day (yum) and then couscous with chicken (double yum) another and Ta-Ta was in time for the Sugar Festival when they eat lots of sweet things and make their teeth hurt. Mohammed was born in Tunisia which is somewhere else than Dutchland or England. In front of Mohammed is his son Sadradine. Then on the right is Adrianna the wife of Mohammed. Then there is Donnja who is the daughter of Monia (she is not in the photo - Monnia is the daughter of Mohammed and Adrianna, then there is Scharma who is training to be a fashion designer and she had a sore throat. Then there is Ta-Ta. In the next photo is Ke-Ke,
Mohammed and Sadradine. They are playing dumme (chequers or draughts) and Mohammed was being very naughty and giving tips to his son in Arabic. Ke-Ke won though!
In the next photo is Adrianna, who did not give Ta-Ta any tips, then Ta-Ta playing dumme with Sadradine. Ke-Ke said she started very well and then lost concentration (which is normal for Ta-Ta because she becomes bored very easily). Ke-Ke said that Sadradine was a little nervous because Ta-Ta played so well.
Sadradine is very nice - he has a broomfeets which I thought first was a special cleaning thing but Ta-Ta says it is spelled bromfiets and is a small motorbike - but it is in Tunisia. I don't know why but it is. There are many more humans in this family - Mohammed and Adrianna's children are: Monia, Mouez, Sadradine, Scharma, Nedra and Amel - the grandchildren are Donnja, Geradine, Mohammed and there are two more but I cannot remember their names because like some Dutch names, Arabic names are hard to say with lots of very hard g (like in loch) and rolling r and j which is yer - so it gives me a bit of a headache because us Siamese have only soft letters and sounds in our language.

Ta-Ta is back!

A big surprise! Ta-Ta came back one week early and I am so excited I make myself into a present. I am very happy she is back and I leave her a little surprise of my own in her suitcase. She has done something strange to her fur but says the furdresser here can fix it.

More Baby Mila

I think this baby is almost as beautiful as me so here are some more photographs. The humans are her dada Gerrie and her mama Carmen.

I explain the pedigree of Baby Mila.
Carmen is the daughter of Gert and Carla. Gert is the brother of Ke-Ke.

There will be a lot of photos and a lot of pedigrees coming on this blog for they are such a big family but the next blog will be of me.

Baby Mila

This is what a baby human looks like - they have no fur except on their head. This is a Dutch baby which was made by Gerry and Carmen (two Dutch humans) about two months ago. The Dutch baby is being cuddled by her Dutch cousin called Jeeno. It seems there are a lot of Dutch people in Dutchland. Ta-Ta said today it rained again and also a little bit of sunshine. She is going to visit Carmen, Gerrie, Jeeno, Mila and Carla on Friday. I am making a great big nuisance of myself in the house now Ta-Ta is away and Ke-Ke is having to run around everywhere cleaning our poop boxes, feeding us, walking Treacle, brushing Treacle, clipping Treacle, feeding the guinea pigs, feeding the fish, cleaning the pond - all the things that Ta-Ta does when she is here.

Ta-Ta is in Dutchland

Ta-Ta has gone to Dutchland until the end of October. Ke-Ke is here and is looking after us well but I miss Ta-Ta. She is going to send me some photos to look at and I can choose which ones to go on to MY blog. Ta-Ta says the weather is just like England except that it is Dutch. Wind is called wind, sun is called zonne and rain is called regen. She says it is winding, zonneing and regening but not all at the same time. Ta-Ta speaks Dutchish and says that cat is kat and dog is hond and that guinepig is marmotje. Where she is staying there are no animals (dieren) but she has managed to entice birds into the garden with cooked rice and pasta. She doesn't think the neighbours like birds (vogels) because they poop on their clean washing. Sounds a bit boring to me. Ta-Ta says the kids play klote pokke verdorrie football in the street which sounds an interesting game. She has seen some cats (katten - now if the plural of kat is katten why isn't the plural of vogel vogelen) in the neighbourhood and some dogs (honden).
