North Norfolk
Different Strokes
(www.heron.nhs.uk/organisationdetails.asp?id=22255&search_id=97496&search_type=b)
held a very successful Autumn Bazaar last week. We were overwhelmed with donations of just about everything including bags and bags of good quality clean and well-looked-after clothing. There is summer, autumn, winter and spring clothing; babies, tweenies, teenagers and women's clothing. Surprisingly there was also a large amount of good quality men's clothing which is usually pretty difficult to come by.
We sold about half the clothing and now have half left!
So this is to invite you to come along on
Saturday 7 November from 10.30am to 2.30pm to grab a bargain
(even cheaper than charity shop prices!).
The clothes are clean ....having been packed away are
now a bit crumpled
All proceeds go to the North Norfolk Different Strokes group, of which I am a member. It is a rapidly growing group of people in their younger years, who have had strokes of all different degrees and we work together with other health professionals, doctors and charities to empower and enable those
who have had strokes. We also aim to have fun.
