There were a number of transport options from the hotel
1. Taxi - negotiate fare before getting into cab - they don't put on meters so you might get a shock. Two dinar plus tip from hotel to town
2. Bus - usually very crowded and stops wherever it wants to and brakes are applied at an alarming rate. Five dinar
3. Lollypop train - if you have any back problems then don't take this one - my coccyx took a couple of hours to re-align itself. Also the driver kindly phones ahead to advise hawkers and traders you are coming and from which hotel so you are almost dragged off the lollypop at the other end. Five dinars
4. Horse and cart - avoid. Horses are thin, foaming at the mouth and are not rarely fed or watered during the day.
