Can't upload photos to blog at the moment, so you will have to use your imagination!
Going to Tunisia today - booked it yesterday as we both need a break. I have had the most horrendous two weeks and hubbie said on Friday 'we need a break'. So I 'phoned good old CAS Travel and there was a flight going from Norwich to Tunisia at 4.05pm today with £400 off the original price.
So have been unpacking and re-packing and weighing on the Wii. Can't find my swimsuit anywhere - so will have to buy one in Hammamet - there is both an indoor and outdoor pool so I can't miss that. Not looking forward to the flight as being in a cramped position causes all my joints to lock and muscles to spasm but am dreaming of the Turkish bath in the hotel to sooth all those aches and pains. Hopefully the flight won't be full so might be able to stretch out.
The gorgeous Tabi (yes there are more than one of us!) is looking after pussy cats and Treacle as gone to Jim the Fisherman (as usual). My cats didn't take well to a the cattery even though they were pampered. They lost weight and cried all the time.
We are hoping to meet up with hubbie's brother-in-law's family who live in Monistere (excuse spellings but am in a hurry) on the Friday which will mean an alarming one hour drive with Mohammed's brother-in-law on very bumpy roads with cars and bicycles all over the road.
Our main objectives are: bed, balcony, breakfast, beach. Lunch, little walk, lie down. Supper, soak, sunset.
So here's until Sunday. May you all keep well and happy.
Good day sunshines. Looks like a lovely autumn in the UK. Sad about the horse chestnut trees. Just one aspect of climate change we don't really think about - a little non-indigenous moth has found its way here and as it has no recognisable food source and no predator it has settled on the horse chestnut. So treasure your conkers.
Jess I love you wherever you are xxxxx
